Sunday Arvos
An arvo meeting at 4pm at the Fitzgerald State School Hall (Norris Road, North Mackay). We hear from God’s word, ask questions, pray, sing and share some food.
We kick off with arvo tea at 4pm, followed by just over an hour of teaching, prayer, and singing. Kids head straight out for Kids Church part-way through the service for fun, digging into the bible, and anything from raps, multimedia stuff, skits and more. There is an area for toddlers and babies to hang out at the back of church, and we hope to able to do a creche soon!
Come as you are!! No church experience required.
Kids Church
We now have two age groups!! Prep-Yr5 (plus toddlers who are happy to join in) are taught a Bible lesson as well as getting to enjoy clay modelling, pictionary, cooking etc to reinforce the teaching!!
And we’re excited to announce our Yr6-Yr8 Kids Church group (a name is coming!!). They are going through some Jesus glorifying material by Preteen Ministries. They have just finished looking at some of the Parables that Jesus told and will now be looking at a great series called ‘School Days’ that tackles common preteen issues like: acceptance, popularity & friendship.

Bible Studies
We have a couple of groups meeting to help us to understand the Bible better for ourselves and to encourage each other in our day to day lives.
Thursday Night Mixed Bible Studies
There are a couple of groups that meet on Thursday nights, one in North Mackay and the other in the Northern Beaches. This is a great chance to get to know each other better, to read the Bible and pray together. Contact Jai on 0429 852 949 if you’d like more details or are keen to come along!
Troppo Markets
Every 2nd Sunday of the month, in the underground carpark at the Mount Pleasant Shopping Centre, community markets are held. We aim to have a stall, selling Christian books and giving some free helpful literature away. Come along and check it out!
